For those of you eagerly anticipating the release of the first series of Walking Dead Minimates, based on Robert Kirkman’s long-running comic book, Diamond Select Toys has a treat for you. It’s photos of Series 1 — both the specialty store/comic shop wave and the Toys “R” Us assortment — in action! DST took some early samples of the 2-inch mini-figures out into the real world to show fans what the final product will look like, and the outlook is delightfully grim! Look for Series 1 to arrive in September, with Dale and the rare Winter Coat Dale figure exclusively at comic shops and specialty stores, and Glenn and Shane exclusively at Toys “R” Us!
