Come to think of it, they DID look like this when I was in school. Oh, they got sent home with letters to their parents (and the make-up was not quite the same), but they were there. There was this one girl that…well, nevermind. They make other blogs for that type of story. Anyway, here is the first look at the painted Schoolgirl Dawn PVC. This image hasn’t been approved, so no posting it anywhere but your desktop, but it had to be shared. I knew Sam nailed the look in his sculpt, but Kat Sapene painted a piece that stole my heart (if I actually had one). We emailed back and forth several times about how I wanted this to look and she couldn’t have done a better job. I love most everything I create, but ever since I met Joe in July of 2000, I have wanted to be responsible for the creation of a schoolgirl Dawn something (pin-up, statue, figure, whatever). I hope you all appreciate the fruits of my unhealthy obsession.
