We received our production Darth Maul piece form the factory this week, for those of you not in the loop about what production, pre-production, paint masters, and T-1’s all are let me tell you all you really need to know and that is: the production piece is the most exciting , awesome, nice, close to finished piece.
October 8, 2008 : Behind the Scenes: Iron Man Minimates
Hi there! I’m Barry Bradfield — the other of the two artists who works on the artwork for Minimates. Along with helping create the 2-D control art, I also choose out appropriate colours and apply them to the black and white artwork. Once the artwork is finalized and approved, I then create tampo files that will be used to print elements of the artwork onto the final figures (such as faces and chest details).

: Some Posters for the Masses
Dear Readers,
Just finishing up some posters today for some of your favorite local retailers. Every once in a while when we get the urge to show you guys what’s coming and how great an item is we get some posters done up for the comic book stores that sell our wares. There has been a ton of interest in the UQS Star Wars figures, from you and the retailers, so we whipped some up for their stores so when you go in to order all your plastic crack you can check out the goods. Here is a small sample of what some of these posters might look like, lots of insets and pictures for you to gaze upon and drool over.

October 1, 2008 : A Glimpse into the Next Generation: Part 1
Since our pictures were first put up of the initial Galaxy Class protoype, we were swamped with requests of more in progress reports of the Enterprise electronic Starship. We’ve seen the outside of the ship’s hull, now let us examine the inner workings of the ship as we demo the electronics, featuring Captain Picard and authentic SFX from Star Trek the Next Generation.
