November 1, 2008 : Ultimate Quarter Scale Update!

Dear Readers,

This is a two part blog post, I want to talk about the Ultimate Quarter Scale Box for a minute and I also want to shout out to the Star Wars fans and giggle about our Q&A this week.

First off, we got our first run of the Darth Maul in the box from the factory in Hong Kong. DST-Schaff came over and set it in my cube asking me to please not scream but to just look it over and hug it until I had my fill then return it to him. I looked it over and it looks great! There are still some things that the factory needs to do to make it perfect before we ship them to the stores and to your loving arms, but otherwise we are lookin’ good!

I don’t want to go into the problems because they were really small issues that don’t even need to be addressed, I am really excited though, as you can all imagine, at the prospect of having this one to take home in the near future! I even took a few pictures of him in the box for your viewing pleasure.

My next topic is the Q&A, first let me just say go ahead guys for getting more than one question in over the past three weeks and for making them good questions instead of the usual snark. I wish there were more still, I love reading what you guys are thinking and the issues crossing your mind, because frankly I always have similar questions and I usually get mine answered right away, so it’s nice to see that you get your answers also, since you can’t be here on the ground floor and all.

Now John Lamm, thanks for coming over and letting me/us know that not everyone is a hater, and that there actually are some people out there who know that the piece they see at the trade show is a prototype and is probably 6 months or more in pre-production. I still feel like the hard core fans should be convinced that this line is freaking awesome, I do understand that they aren’t here holding them and trying them out and making corrections like we are, but can’t you see the potential! I see it, it’s there staring me in the face, glowing in awesomeness. OK, maybe that’s a little much, the point is I know what potential looks like and our UQS figures totally have it and then some. I am really glad you are down with our figures and that you are interested, oh and Hoth Han is awesome by the way, his outfit problems have been addressed.

My question to you John is… How do you really know that DST-Jen is the same Jen over at rebelscum.com? I mean really there are tons of star wars fans whose names are Jen who post only about how awesome DST UQS figures are, come on! Just kidding, it’s nice to see you doing your research and I applaud you for it, I hope you get your first UQS and that I didn’t let you down with all my hype.

Hyped Up straight from the desk of,

DST-Jen
