When new Minimate paint masters come into the office DSTSchaff usually drops them off at my desk first. You see, I kind of like Minimates. I kind of like Minimates a lot. So I carefully assemble the various pint-sized bundles of joy, careful not to rub any paint off or otherwise cause them harm (we try to wait until after they’ve been photographed to irreparably damage them, emphasis on try).

So you can image my giddy glee when I received our latest batch of Minimates and saw my new favorite Minimate of all time! This particular character is from a film/tv show/comic I thoroughly enjoy and features a unique design which will probably never reappear in any future Minimate waves. It’s so innovative and eye-catching that I just know it will have to become a part of many, many collections and displays. This little masterpiece is my first MUST-BUY of 2009 and should be making its way to stores this summer.
