I have to admit, I was pretty sceptical when I heard that there was a Wolverine movie coming out. I will say that after seeing some of the new trailers it actually looks pretty cool. What’s even more exciting is that we are working on bring all of you Hugh Jackman fans out there Minimates of the Sexiest Man Alive!!!! Not only that, there will be a mini version of Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool). You can have a mini ab-off right in your own living room! All kidding aside, these are pretty sweet looking Minimates. You might have to be careful because they can most likely totally kick the ass of the rest of your collection. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Some of you may remember back in 1989 watching Back to the Future 2 on the big screen and wondering what would it really be like in 2015. Will we have hover conversions for our cars and flying highways? What about the self lacing shoes? Would we really get to re-hydrate stuff from Pizza Hut in a matter of seconds? Well 2015 is now 0nly 6 years away! Unless some things start progressing at an alarming rate it looks like many of the movies prdeiction will not come true. Fortunately you will be able to dress like it is 2015 right here in 2009. That’s right, we are making exact replicas of the stylish iridescent hat that Marty McFly wore in the movie. Now if I could only convince them to make those sneakers…

How many of you out there went to see Punisher: War Zone? If you haven’t, don’t let that stop you from grabbing up a set of Minimates based on the movie. This is one of my favorite Minimates sets since I have been working here and that has been a long time. These little guys are brutal! They have all kinds of guns and other weapons to bring vigilante justice to your bookshelf (or wherever you keep your ‘mates). The package features awesome windows that look like they are blasting their way out of the box trying to exact justice on all the evil-doers out there. I have to say, just having these guys around my desk makes me want to see the movie. Guess I will be adding it to my Netflix queue.

At long last, the final figure in the two-assortment Borg series is complete. This version of Locutus comes with a head that came from a digital scan of Patrick Stewart AND we have upgraded the outfit to something a bit more like what you saw in Picard’s nightmare from First Contact. True, nothing will ever replace Best of Both Worlds in our hearts, but this is definitely cool enough to warrant everyone have two Locutus figs on their shelf.

Not sure what to do February 6th-8th? How about booking your trip to one of the hottest conventions on the east coast, the New York Comic Con! This year is sure to be even better than last years show. I know you’re thinking it can’t be possible, but just check out the guest list for yourself…

The Minimates just keep on coming around here. I recently have been working on stuff for the Heroes and Villains 4 packs that we have coming up. After all of the waves of Minimates that we have made over the years you might be missing some of your core heroes or villains. Who know, you might have worn them out from playing with them over and over again. I know I can’t pass by my vast collection without re-posing at least a few of them! These are some nice looking ‘mates and they come in the new and improved (and very stylish) packaging! Go out and get ‘em and build your Minimates army!
