Dear Readers,

First all, I am back!  I missed you all and I wish I had something awesome to blog about when I was on leave but alas it was boring.  Now that I am back I have spent the day doing many mundane tasks, but lo and behold I went snooping for some projects I knew I would be working on in the coming weeks and I found THIS!  Turns out we are starting a new line of Transformers Resin! Exciting… I know right?

So If you are a fan of DST you know of the old Marvel Icons line of the past, if you are not familiar check the archives.  I like to think of them as the essence of the character in large chess piece form.  I probably own enough of these guys to start a giant chess game.  Well now we are resusitating the Icon’s line in the form of bots!  Autobots that is!

The line will start with the most important of all, Optimus Prime of course.  I saw the paint master pictures and we have gone with the 80’s style cartoon accurate Optimus.  He has great clear and sharp lines and awesome color.  I can’t wait to add him to my collection, look for him in previews soon and on the website.  I will post pictures when I photograph him myself.

Everyone knows we are doing the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man as a Roto Cast Figural Bank, but I don’t recall if I let it slip that there would be a variant version.  Well, there will be.  And here he is now - Mr. Fussy-Puft.  Hey, you’d look mad too if you were just a severed head on someone’s desk.  Stay tuned for painted pics.

I had the pleasure of photographing and preparing the Geological Tricorder for the website and for general DST goodness. It’s just as awesome and accurate as our other tricorders only this one is so much better. Why is that your asking yourself, well because this one scans rocks! Haven’t you ever been stranded on some rocky or desert like planet and wished you had something to scan the lay of the land and collect soil sample information! I know me too! So I have taken some pictures for you and prepped them all up for the website, enjoy and by golly get those pre orders in or else you may miss out of one of the best role play items this year!

Uh oh, now you’ve gone and upset Mr. Stay Puft.  Nice going.  Well, the good news is that making him angry has given us an opportunity to capture that emotion in a variant of our roto bank.  I’m still working out the details on how this will be made available to everyone, but we’ll keep the development going and I promise it’ll all work out by the time you see a painted version.

OK, the legal stuff is out of the way, now, allow me to introduce to you the arch nemesis for our Marvel Select Wolverine action figure - The Marvel Select Sabretooth action figure!  This sculpt by Gentle Giant, when approved by Marvel, will be the perfect companion to Rudy Garcia’s Wolverine.
