September 15, 2009 : Stay Puft Is So Misunderstood!

TRU Stay Puft

He just can’t shake this bad wrap… the pillaging, the looting, the Ghostbuster hating. It’s just not fair!
He just wants to spread joy and smores to all!

When you see him, give him a hug. He deserves it!

September 8, 2009 : Begun, the Clone Banks Have

clone_bank1

Meh, it sounded funnier in my head, but let’s go with it.  The point is, the time has come at last for our bust bank line to branch out into the wonderful world of Clones and the almost limitless possibilities for variants.  The lead-off release is, obviously, the basic Clone Trooper.  Much like the R2 bank, the Clone is based on digital scan data and was painted by Ed Wires.  Look for him at the start of 2010.

September 6, 2009 : Stay Puft Blooper Reel

staypuftblue

True confession time again - Sometimes an idea sounds great in my head, but then I get a little muddled when it comes time to explain it to the people that have to help make it happen.  In this case, I was all excited about my first Stay Puft Marshmallow Man bank variant.  So, I said “I want a glow-in-the-dark blue version”.  Um, yeah, back to the drawing board…

September 5, 2009 : Fall down and Go Boom(er)

5-22-09-boomerSometimes even the best of us guess wrong.  In this case, we were caught off guard at how phenomenally well the Battlestar Galactica figures were selling in Toys R Us.  Those poor stores are running out of figures at an alarming rate and the next assortment isn’t scheduled for another few months.  What’s a boy to do?  (more…)

redstripeminimateflbr

Well, you had to have guessed that if we were going to do a normal sized figure of Red Stripe, we were also going to have to do a little fella version as well. So, I present to you Minimate Red Stripe!…

redstripecylonflbr

Get it?…<tap tap tap> Is this thing on? Hrmm. Anyway…We have NO idea what we are going to do with this variant, but we all came in after watching the series finale and agreed that a red stripe Cylon HAD to be part of the line. The licensor agreed and the rest is history…
