December 11, 2009 : Seeing the World Through Ruby Colored Glasses

cyclops

OK, so it’s not quite how the old saying goes, but that how Cyclops rolls.  Actually, it’s more of a visor than glasses (at least until I do the unmasked head), but I digress.  The point is - take a look at the newest Marvel Select figure.  This is technically the X-Factor variant version, the regular release will feature the Silver Age costume to make him the perfect companion to Marvel Girl.

: X-Factor Cyclops in Color

x-factor-cyclops

Here for your enjoyment is the painted Marvel Select Cyclops figure.  This is the short-packed X-Factor version.  Lucky fans can pick this up and remember back to an era when Scott and Jean reunited after she came back to life…no, the other time she came back…no, before that…<sigh> the first time she came back…yeah, that era.

November 24, 2009 : A Decepticon Is the Safest Place to Store Cash

megatronbustbank

Nope, I don’t believe that for a second.  After all, who is more likely to transform and roll out with all your hard-earned loot?  But, then again, no matter how spot-on these sculpts are, or how screen-accurate the paint may be, these are just banks.  There really isn’t more to Megatron than meets the eye…or is there?  Guess you’ll just have to pick one up to find out.
