July 30, 2010 : Some assembly required.

Just like the mad old Victor himself, I’m going to have to do some limb reattachment surgery to make myself an Ultimate Quarter Scale Frankenstein’s Monster figure.  But, since all of the pieces have been completed and approved, I thought I would let everyone see the components.

July 20, 2010 : My backpack’s got jets…

Who’s the best, baddest, coolest bounty hunter in the galaxy?  (Say Cad Bane and I’ll jump out of this computer and we’ll have issues)  Correct!  Boba Fett.  So who better to add to the growing line of Star Wars bust banks?  Here is a look at the output of the digital sculpt…

: A drip off the old blob

At the time of this writing, all details about what I’m doing are super secret, but if everything goes well we will be doing something with a reduced sized version of the Slimer sculpt used for the roto figure bank.  This is really just a tribute to the amazing work some of the factories can do overseas.  Slimer was not produced by digital scan data, so the reduction was not simply changing the output size, it took a lot of effort and they did a great job.

: Happy Anniversary Mr. Fett

Now you see the other reason why the last photo was painted in Jedi colors.  We’re doing BOTH paint styles.  There are a couple of fine folks showing interest, so no final decisions have been made, but the Empire Strikes Back color scheme is going to be a limited edition exclusive to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the film.  Stay tuned for more info…bobaesb

: Color Me Badd

Yes, as a matter of fact I am completely ashamed that I used that as the title of my post, but it’s been one of those days and it seemed somewhat clever at the time.  Anyway, you’ve seen how awesome the Boba Fett sculpt is, now take a gander at the colorized version.  bobarotjI went with the Return of the Jedi color scheme for 2 reasons.  One, it’s  bit more eye catching for the casual shopper.  Two, well, you’ll see in my next post.
