Hi, as a fan of Star Trek: The Next Generation I would like to ask, will be there action figures of Admiral Kathryn Janeway from Nemesis, Guinan, Spock as a Federation Amabassador and Fleet Admiral Alynna Nechayev?
DSTChuck: Right now the 7” action figure line is on a “break” so none of those figures are planned at this time.

Hi, I like Stargate Atlantis and I would like to know if there are any plans to make any action figures for Richard Woolsey and Major Evan Lorne. Also, I’d like to know if that figure of President Laura Roslin will be released at all. She’s my favourite BSG character and I would really like to have her in my collection.
DSTChuck: Right now we do not have any plans for Stargate or BSG 7” figures, sorry.
Nick Smith
I know you probably have no plans to do any Voyager figures, But a Janeway would be really nice so I can finish my collection of captains..Maybe her and her chair as an exclusive or something? Or her with no chair as an exclusive?
DSTChuck: Nick, that is something we had considered not too long ago, but nothing is in the plans.

Hi. I just had a question about the new next gen cloth series. Will all the next gen crew be released at some point and some aliens as well? Also will you make a Enterprise D with sounds to go along with this new series? Thanks. Noor
DSTChuck: Noor, pre-orders for the TNG figures were not too strong, but we’re going to make them and make a good number of extras, and if they take off we would consider doing more series of TNG retro.

Star Trek Original Series 2-in-1 Phaser Color Scheme suggestions: There are two other color variants that would be interesting for the Star Trek 2-in-1 Phaser: 1. Use the black body (from the black body/ white handle variant), and paint the handle gloss black instead. Use the chrome trim phaser one unit. 2. Use the blue body (from the blue body/bronze handle variant), but paint the handle white. Use the all black phaser one unit (from the white handle variant). #1 looks pretty cool, because the gloss black handle still contrasts with the molded black body. Using the chrome trim phaser one adds the needed trim flash. #2 was a color scheme actually seen in the show, as long as the phaser one is the all black type (the retailer summit had a chrome trim phaser one), and the cooling fins in the back of the body is the matching blue, not chrome. If you ever implement these color schemes, can I get them free for suggesting these color schemes? I can take photos of the ones I arranged/painted and send them to you, if you are interested. Basically, I took a black/white handle version and the retailer summit version, and switched the phaser one units. Then, I painted the black body handle black. The only problem with my prototype is that the retailer summit version has the chrome cooling fins on the back instead of the matching blue.
DSTChuck: I think for a while there we had pretty much overloaded folks with variants. For now we’re going to look at re-making a good bit of the core line and some variants for the role play, after that if the response is there I could see us rolling more re-issues out and maybe some new variants.

I know the likelihood of anything current being made now is minimal, but if you had to guess, how long do you think it will be before we start seeing more 7″ Trek figures from you? Also why does it seem like you have such little faith in that line? You seem to be doing a lot of cool things with the Retro figures (Like Andorians, Borgs, Salt Vampires, The Mugato, etc. etc.) and I constantly see figures from that line with significantly slashed prices online. If they are constantly slashed down, how can they be doing any better than the 7″ collector ones? I know that the Salt Vampire Preorders didn’t go so well, but to be fair, I, a ST collector, didn’t even know about the preorder till it was long over. Maybe the lack of interest wasn’t a lack of interest at all, maybe it was a lack of advertisement. Hopefully some of the things I’ve mentioned and some of the questions I’ve asked will get you guys thinking, I personally love the 7″ line and hope that they make a return (with characters other than kirk and spock).
DSTChuck: Nick, you might be right, but for us it took a great many items with low sell-through and pre-orders being poor before we put the line on hold. It’s something we talk about frequently and we even showed some ideas to buyers at Toy Fair, so it’s possible the line will come back at some point.

Are there any plans to produce the new movie Enterprise (JJ-prise)? The Playmates version is ok, but still toy like, I would really like to see a quality offering like the other ships AA produces
DSTChuck: Sorry, we do not have any rights to the new Trek timeline.

With CBS now remastering TNG on Blu-ray, does Art Asylum/DST have any plans to re-release the original Enterprise-D to take advantage of a renewed interest in the series?
DSTChuck: We have plans for many re-issues between now and the end of the year, including the D.

Was wondering if there has ever been plans to make any of the romulan or reman ships from star trek nemesis, I think I speak for many people who would love to see these ships put into production. thanks sean
DSTChuck: I don’t think so, but to be honest we have no hard plans for ships past the B and BOP.
