April 8, 2011 : Commander Cody - Execute Order 66

Continuing our line of Star Wars bust banks, allow me to present to you - Commander Cody.  Long before he took up the habit of blasting Jedi, Commander Cody was a trusted ally of Obi-Wan Kenobi.  So the question now is - do you trust him to hold your money?  Of course you do, it’s an inanimate object.  Really people, you have got to stop letting me influence you into thinking these things have feelings.  Although, is it just me or does Cody’s visor follow you when you move?  Hmm…Anyway, this piece was digitally sculpted by Oluf Hartvigson and painted by Star Wars afficiando Ed Wires.  While all of my Clone variants have unique sculpts, Cody is by far the most detailed with his brand new head and shoulder pads.

: Happy Anniversary Mr. Fett

Now you see the other reason why the last photo was painted in Jedi colors.  We’re doing BOTH paint styles.  There are a couple of fine folks showing interest, so no final decisions have been made, but the Empire Strikes Back color scheme is going to be a limited edition exclusive to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the film.  Stay tuned for more info…bobaesb

: Color Me Badd

Yes, as a matter of fact I am completely ashamed that I used that as the title of my post, but it’s been one of those days and it seemed somewhat clever at the time.  Anyway, you’ve seen how awesome the Boba Fett sculpt is, now take a gander at the colorized version.  bobarotjI went with the Return of the Jedi color scheme for 2 reasons.  One, it’s  bit more eye catching for the casual shopper.  Two, well, you’ll see in my next post.
