February 2, 2010 : Marvel Select Cyclops Update!

By now you should have seen the upcoming Marvel Select Cyclops figure and his amazing Danger Room base, but as always this Marvel Select release has more than meets the eye!  While the traditional Silver Age Cyclops will be the most readily available version (the recently released Silver Age Marvel Girl is glad to hear that!) - there will also be an alternate X-Factor Cyclops included in each case (that makes 4 Silver Age Cyclops and 2 X-Factor Cyclops).  The only way to get your grubby little X-paws on the variant Cyclops is to purchase a full case through Previews though, so make sure your retailer of choice knows that they need to add this figure to their order form.

Will this trend of Danger Room bases continue?  Will the Marvel Select line continue to give the X-Men their dues?  Both good questions for our next installment of AskDST - so submit your questions here!

March 22, 2009 : To Boldly Go Where No Hair-Do Has Gone Before

Graphics Log Star Date 43198.7,

Prepare yourselves for the Original Series Star Trek action figures series 5! I just got finished putting together some ads for previews and that means you’ll be seeing the first pictures of these guys soon! I know one of our largest fan bases is strictly trekies, so I suspect we’ll be getting tons of emails about these guys. The assortment includes Season 3 Captain James Kirk, “Tholian Web” Dr. Leonard McCoy, Nurse Christine Chapel and Bee Hive wearin’ Yeoman Janice Rand. They are sculpted by Patrick Pigott and the detailing is really great. They are on par with some of our other great Star Trek Figures and I know you are going to love them, especially for the sweet crew ladies party dresses uniforms. The ad should be out by April and you can look for these guys in stores in August, also that means the salt vampire is coming soon too!

February 13, 2009 : Old School Bad Hair Day!

Oh, I may mock him (never to his face, mind you) but the truth is I always thought Sabretooth had a pretty good look to him back in the old days.  I mean, this dude actually looked like he wasn’t fully evolved and would indeed gut you and eat your entrails if you got within reach.  We’ve captured that classic look and now here you see it in full-color glory.  Enjoy!
