May 17, 2011 : Pirate Week Day Two: All Aboard the Ranger!
To keep things sailing smoothly in this week of piracy, we thought we’d share some new photos of the Ranger, Calico Jack’s pirate ship, due to hit Toys “R” Us in early July. The ship measures 9 inches from bow to stern, and 9 inches from keel to crow’s nest, and has more movable and removable parts than you can shake a spyglass at. Retractable planks, opening hatches and doors, a removable deck… this is every 2-inch pirate’s dream ride! It comes with one able-bearded crewman and Calico Jack’s trademark Jolly Roger flag (not shown), and has enough space to hold a whole crew of Minimates, plus whatever you can stow in the hold. It’s enough to make even the most cantankerous bilge rat sing, “Yarrr, I be on a boat!”

October 14, 2008 : Ultimate Quarter Scale Packaging
Dear Readers,
The UQS box is making a lot of headway this week. It has been through two rounds of corrections with Lucas and is looking like more and more of a possibility to get this to the factory this month which I believe would put us dead on for our schedule for the line. It’s very exciting to get these moving, for me at least because the sooner they get made the sooner I get mine! The box will have the Clone Wars style guide art, as we have gone over before, we are approving some special art work as well, that is top secret but will make the box a nice collector piece in itself. If you were wondering at all about any of the problems we were facing with the box itself, I did have a problem with the window size and the factory not thinking it would hold up in transit and the bottom of the box was not strong enough to hold the figure in, all those problems have been fixed and are looking perfect at this time, so YAY. go us!

September 29, 2008 : Where the fans at?
Dear Star Wars Fans and Readers,
I just got done reading the Q&A for this week and i am so, so very disappointed in the Star Wars fans turnout for this one. As the resident Star Wars junkie (aside from DST Schaff) I am deeply worried about this. Star Wars fans are notoriously involved and passionate. I also think that Star Wars fans while passionate are also very honest and are a kinder/gentler fan, unlike the one guy who sent in a question this week. I may have to start getting on all the Star Wars boards and forums to generate some hype amongst the Fans to start getting their questions in. I have a feeling once the first is released the mail will come in dump trucks but until then we should still be dealing with more than one guy who clearly has no idea what he’s talking about (the clothing on our UQS is of the highest quality and probably nicer than anything you could buy at a department store right now). So this is my plea, If you love Star Wars, if you are excited about the line plan we have, if you can’t wait to get your hand on these UQS figures then please, start getting the word out, start asking those probing questions, and help me prove that Star Wars fans are the best kind of fans, seriously, you guys are letting the trekies take over and it’s embarrassing me.

September 19, 2008 : A piece of cake!
I know in past blogs I have gone over the process that was involved in creating the Duff from “Charm City Cakes” minimate. I wanted to share with you that we did get a great review on one of the better toy blogs out there! Michael’s Captain Toy review did a full scale evaluation on Lil’ Duff and he scored high marks in every category, especially packaging (cough cough thanks for noticing cough cough). I thought it would be nice to share some of the praise we are getting from the fan community, not to mention it’s like one of my favorite items from this year. So after you get done reading all our fantastic info maybe slide on over and check out what other sites are saying about us too, then come back here some more!
