We know, we know — you really, really wanted to go to the New York Toy Fair this year, but once again, you found yourself to be neither a buyer nor a member of the press. Well, we’ve got an idea — we want to give you a couple of pieces of artwork from our booth that you can use to turn your room into your own private Toy Fair! From outside the booth, we’ve got a big, 8-foot-tall by 3-foot-wide Marvel Minimates poster (a snippet seen above), and from the inside we’ve got an 8-foot-by-3-foot Minimates MAX poster (a snippet seen below). Then we’ve got three pieces of original Minimates control art, used to show buyers what Minimates will look like before they get made. (Don’t worry, we’ll pick good ones.) Plus, we’ll throw in a couple of sets of Minimates for you to hang around the room to simulate a retail environment! It’s like a Toy Fair in miniature, and it’s all yours! New York Toy Fair is over, and the DIamond Select Toys booth was a whirlwind of activity the whole time, thanks to a bunch of cool new license announcements, as well as some great reveals from their existing lines. Since the show isn’t open to the public, DST sent over some shots from around the booth, and the first batch is their offerings from The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man and Marvel Comics! Diamond Select Toys’ line of Marvel Comics-based neon signs has been getting “glowing” reviews, and now they’ve added another icon to their wall! Their current offerings of the Marvel Comics logo and Captain America’s shield are about to be joined by a brand-new sign featuring the Armored Avenger, Iron Man. The 12-inch-tall face of ol’ Shellhead lights up in bright red, yellow and blue atop a versatile display base, so you can hang it on your wall or stand it on your desk! As a bonus, the sign comes with a sketch-cover variant of Avengers vs. X-Men #1, although we should probably say that this neon sign is not recommended for use as a reading lamp. Diamond Select Toys has made Minimates for each of the key Marvel Studios films so far, and now they’re making Minimates for the most action-packed Marvel movie yet! Hitting stores this spring will be two assortments of figures, one exclusively available at Toys “R” Us stores and on toysrus.com, and another only at comic book shops and specialty stores. Last week, we showed you this week’s new Marvel Select figure of Colossus, in action, and now we’re showing off the Marvel Select figure who’s headed to stores next week. The Green Goblin stands 7 inches tall with 16 points of articulation, one interchangeable pumpkin bomb hand and a removable satchel, and his detailed Goblin Glider display base has an 8.5-inch wingspan and sits perched atop a coil of smoke. One of the biggest comic events of 2011 — one whose effects are still rippling through the Marvel Universe — was “Fear Itself.” The massive Marvel Comics crossover, which saw eight mystical hammers fall into the hands of the world’s worst villains (and some of its greatest heroes, as well), gave us some amazing battles… as well as some sweet new costumes! To commemorate the Earth-shattering storyline, Diamond Select Toys is releasing two box sets of Marvel Minimates: The Worthy and The Mighty!

The Worthy box set includes Cul, The Serpent (the Asgardian god of fear); his herald Skadi (a.k.a Sin, the Red Skull’s daughter); Mokk, Breaker of Faith (formerly the Grey Gargoyle); and Angrir, Breaker of Souls (formerly the ever-lovin’ blue-eyed Thing). With the Avengers movie fast approaching, Avengers mania is at an all-time high, and we’re recruiting some of the team’s most famous members for an all-new wave of comic-based Marvel Minimates! As we first saw yesterday on Marvel.com. the 44th wave of two-packs includes:
