April 23, 2009 : Enterprise NC1701-D… The ONLY Way to Explore the Universe!

If I were fresh outta the starfleet academy, I’d only want to have Picard as my captain! Sure, he’s bad with kids and a little … demanding, but I chalk that all up to good leadership skills! Besides, haven’t you seen what happens to every other Starfleet ship they run into? (Hellloooo USS Yamato!) I’d say on the Enterprise, my survival rate is 100%.

August 22, 2008 : Star Trek Enterprise D: A work in progress

A work in progress

Used the style guide mostly for this one, but with a few new touches. ;)

The Enterprise D was TNG … not TOS! (For those who are not Star Trek geeks like me,
TNG = The Next Generation and TOS = The Original Series) so I changed the Kirk headshot for a Picard headshot. Hopefully CBS will approve of me changing out Kirk. But I have to say, if I were to choose a Captain to follow, it’s be Picard. His knowledge of arcane Shakespeare and Geology is mesmerizing! (Plus his head is shiny. I’m a sucker for shiny).

August 12, 2008 : Enterprise D Under Construction, Part 1

As with any complex project, it’s all in the details.  Here’s a look at our back-and-forth with the factory about the upcoming Enterprise D ship designs.  I’m setting my phasers to stun, just in case.

June 17, 2008 : Enterprise D development delays

We were expecting to receive the packaging dieline from the factory today for the Enterprise D…….still waiting. Sorry graphics guys, hopefully tomorrow. We did get a couple prototype shots from the factory; check here for a couple sneak peaks. Factory is still checking the construction and the details; after they’re done they said they will send the prototype for our review.
